No diasagreements here

I bought one a few months ago. It takes some work to get things
usable (in my opinion), and I've already outgrown it. It's SMALL.

I'd sell mine and buy a bigger one if I had space, but I think I'm going
to hang on and wait until I finish building a house... I'll have a
seperate
shop, where I can fit real machine; Then I'll buy a bridgeport BOSS or
some
other full size machine and get EMC running on it.

I run my poor grizzly pretty hard (40+ hours per week for the last two
months
since I got CNC working) almost 100% in alum and steel. It works OK (I
retrofitted
ACME screws into it, but still have more backlash than I'd like). It's
definitly an OK machine for $500.00, but I didn't think I'd outgrow it
this fast.

I can't compare it to other small machines, but my manual work on a big
machine
was significantly more pleasant.

Buy bigger if you have the space.
