I've played with Origin for a while, and I wish I could afford Solid
Edge. There is another product that is in the same price range as
Solid Edge, called Solid Works, that looks good
Remember one interesting fact about Solid Edge - It is NOT
Unigraphics
high end CAD/CAM system! Look at "Unigraphics" itself

Of course, you REALLY don't want to know prices on that. It has
better organic surfaces (If you buy that module) has something like 4
or 5 different modules for tool paths, depending on what you are
doing
The thing is, I've been told that the BASE system STARTS at something
like 25,000 USD per seat, and the modules can add 5K/seat/module
