Opinions on CAM software - DesKAM?

Hello to all,

I've been following the CAM opinion thread, and haven't seen
reference to DesKam software. I've played with the demo, and it
looks like it will do fine for me with 2D, and 2 1/2D contouring. It
will import both 2D .DXF and 3D .DXF and .STL files. The price is
$250-$275 USD, which seems very reasonable compared to other
softwares I've played with for home use. I looking for other
opinions on this software package. I'm not connected to DesKAM in
any way.
