Vector-NAMES Class

With input from several that will be attending NAMES, we have decided to have our Vector class on Friday
afternoon (April 27), rather than Thursday. The NAMES exhibition is on April 28-29th. Friday morning we
will setup at NAMES and then about 3:00 pm, will start the training. Since there are shortened hours, pizza
for supper will be included, with class over at 10:00. If you are interested, please let us know. IMService is
located approximately 10 miles north of Ann Arbor, about 1-1 1/4 hour drive from Yack Arena in Wyandotte.
Our classroom has 12 computers, and can accommodate a few more with shared computers. Advanced
registration is required. See link in sig to e-mail us.
Also this is the last week for the special crossgrade pricing.
StlWork 2 is in Beta and should be released in time for NAMES. We plan to have a Sherline with rotary 4th
axis on display, moving about the rotary, (if not cutting).
Amapi 6 is released. Lots of new features and power, including raster image to profile creation, wrapping about
cylinder and sphere, and layout on surface. Nice smoothing, bumping, and rendering. More NURB capabilities
and file import/export capabilities. Runs on MAC or PC. Downloadable demos should be available later today.
