Hi Brian,
I think I'd rather have a linear supply, and then take the motor power
directly from the filter cap. Get about 37v that way. the switcher
would probably be adequate, but you might have to have a "minimum"
current draw to get it to regulate. 24v is at the minimum end for the
Gecko's.
