I'm pretty sure EMC would allow a spec of 400.0 degrees to cause the
axis to turn one full turn plus 40 degrees. If you then sent it to
zero, it would turn back the full 400 degrees, not stop the first time
it passes the zero position. Now, if you did a HOME operation from
the 400 degree pos. it would only go back 40 degrees and hit the home
switch. If you were cutting something with helical grooves in it,
like a screw compressor rotor, it might be very important to make some
operations move past the zero position properly.
