I have a bit of experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley) and ladder
logic. It's very simple stuff.
Hewe's a link to an AB PLC instruction manual:
http://www.ab.com/manuals/cp/1785-6_1.pdf
You can find quite a bit of info if you search for ladder logic, or
something like that on a search engine.
Say, does anyone know of an inexpensive PLC for cheap bums like me?
I'd like something like 8-16 inputs and 8-16 outputs... Any thoughts?
It should have cheap software also, and run on a Winblows box
(although I will probably be using a Linux system soon when I get my
paws on the BDI EMC). Used/surplus is fine, but it's nice to have a
supplier of inexpensive controllers on hand :)
