You were at the Robot games with a cnc setup and nobody told me?! The location two years ago was a five minute walk from my house, last year it was a five minute drive.
I would heartily agree that we need to get the message out. Did I miss the announcement here on the group, or did you forget and I have to ... I can't think of anything bad enough.

(When it was by my house a friend and I entered a robot, probably the only one made from wood. We lost miserably, but due to logic problems rather than structural or design failure.)

The last two days I was at the Western Canadian Robot Games
here in Calgary, which apparently (with its $10,000+ worth of
prizes) is the largest event of its kind in the world (outside of
a Big One in Japan):
