Jon,
You might want to check your machine control's file directory to see what
extension it uses for g-code files. In my experience, most g-code is sent in
'ascii' format to the control. If it is that way with your control, it may
be a matter of attaching the proper filename extension - i.e. gcodefile.cam,
etc.
You can save your g-code from the NCCam portion of Bobcad with any
extension you'd like. Just select Save As>All Files (*.*), then type in the
extension you need. Or, modify it later from Windows Explorer. Note that
changing the extension changes the name only, the format is still 'ascii'.
If you machine doesn't take ascii, you may be between a rock and a hard
place, there. (As far as Bobcad is concerned...)
