Well, it depends on what you value your time as, and whether you have the
manual machine already. That makes a big difference. I have had to pass
up a number of good looking machines that simply won't fit in my basement!
There's no way a Series II will fit under the low ceiling. And, I'm already
stuck with the big chunk of iron that I'd have to get rid of, anyway. So,
it makes more sense in that case. If one was starting from a clear spot
on the floor, then a used BOSS with a smoked control would make a lot
more sense.
