Hello to the list, I enjoy reading all the odd topics that crop up here
(never heard of water jet cutting before). I have an "antique" lever type
capstan (1907 patent brown &sharpe no.0) and a drummond "barrell lathe"
(slotted cast iron tube for a bed),neither ideal but modifiable. I got a
book from the library "how to use linux" and was suprised they had the disk
for it, caldera version 1.3 and amazed it is the 2.035 kernel.Ive got it
running on a second hard disk with a dual boot (lilo) I cant say without
problems but most problems are just from not reading the book. ill try the
rt patch and emc when I can use linux a bit
My current project is to use the connection info from Arne Chr jorgensens
message :" battery charger for supply" to connect a floppy drive up to try
out stepster (I never realised the stepper connections are on the edge
connector) Then I have to find something with a bit more torque
