ICQ is a program that allows people to get into a group for
instant messaging. It is like AOL instant messenger. Another is
PalTalk which allows those with microphones on their computers to
actually converse with all the others on-line at the time and
avoid typing. PalTalk is great for setting up locked groups
where you can talk to other family members. ICQ is rather flaky,
like AOL IM. PalTalk is better but still not very good, even
though useable. I've used all three to some extent.

If you do a net search, you will come up with ICQ and be able to
download the software, install, and register. Personally, I
wouldn't bother as I'd rather receive emails.
