Thanks for the update.
I saw a hexapod machining center and was blown away. Talk about smashing the
orthogonal maching paradizm.
I was was thinking about making linear actualtors using stepper motors and a
directly coupled 5/8" .2 pitch ballscrews. I didn't persue it because there
was no software to control it. So with all the features that you are adding
to emc I think that a hexapod machine could well be attainable for a small
machine shop.
I am looking forward to all the updates.
