If you have installed the EMC from a BDI disk, you'll want to make a
small change to /usr/local/emc/emc_mini.ini and
/usr/local/emc/generic.ini. What you need to do is find the line that
says something like:
PERIOD = 0.000016
and erase it or comment it out like this:
;PERIOD = 0.000016
This line should be right above the [TRAJ] section. The reason for this
is that if you are running steppermod rather than freqmod (and these two
.ini files are...), you may experience a lockup of the PC immediately
following the first jog or move command.

P.S. Bill - Sorry this took so long to post, but I've been real busy
catching up on sleep and work since I got back. Hope to see you again at
Cabin Fever, or NAMES next year!
