Hi all! I'm a newbie here, been reading a few of your interesting
posts. Been running a Maxnc10 for 3+ years and converted it to
servo drives a while back from Kerr Engineering.
http://www.jrkerr.com/index.html
They have some neat compact drives with great capabilities. Bought
surplus servo motors with encoders from Herbach and Rademan surplus.
I'm running about 40 IPM max now and limited by the Pentium 120.
Planning to extend the X travel to 18" to allow machining a complete
guitar fretboard in one setup. This includes the cavities for pearl
inlays etc. Also make other accessories for my line of carved
acoustic archtops such as finger rests, tailpieces etc.
You may find the Maxnc application at the bottom of my webpage
interesting.

Regards to all.
