Good thinking. You're getting closer but there is still a step between the
output of Vector and the input of the Geckodrives. Vector puts out g-code
and Geckodrives take in step and direction signals.
This is where a program like the EMC comes it. It reads a G-code file and
plans the machine motion based on what that code says.
