joystick control circuit question

I got into the 555 timer threads a bit late, but have been following
them with interest. I downloaded the pulsegenerator.dxf file this AM.
The two IC's appear as black squares on my plot...what are these two
chips? Also are all the diodes IN4148? And what chips are Q1-4?
