I have a Shoptask that is converted to CNC. Not a bad machine for the money.
It is actually a very nice lathe, and a decent mill. You will want to have
the Quadralift on the machine as it is a real PIA to get the work to the
proper height without it. I do not have the Quadralift and was seriously
considering making my own or buying it until I got a Bridgeport series II
mill. Now the Shoptask will only be used as a lathe.
You may want to check out my website ( http://www.ktmarketing.com/CNC.html )
as I have a fair amount of info on my Shoptask adventure.
