Hi Lew,
I think what you are looking for can be found at S. LaRose, Inc.
There web site is http://www.slarose.com , on page 92 of there catalog they
have green lathe belting from Switzerland. It come in 1/8 and 5/32 and cost
$5.95 for 3 Feet. You heat the ends to near liquid and the push them
together. It's the belting used on jeweler's lathes.
