Just ordered servo motors, gecko etc...now what??

I just ordered the CNC converion parts for my Slop-task which include
the Gecko 340's, servo motors, power supply, cables etc....basilcly
most of the hardware that I need.

So is there anything special I should do to my PC to get this stuff
up and running?

I'm leaning towrads the DeskNC package of software but have
downloaded a few other DOS based sample offerings.

Any advise would be great appreciated.
