You will get a number of opinions on this. The main competitors at this
price point are Vector and BobCAD. I am a Vector user for about 2 years.
I love the program and am VERY happy with it. The new manual had helped
me learn a number of new ways to do things that I did not realize were
even in the program. Even more than the program I can attest to
IMService and Fred as being top notch in support. No problem at all with
getting ignored because you are a hobby level user. Also, Fred offered a
number of add-on programs that are enhancing Vector's abilities. V-Carvz
and V-Fontz are pretty slick in what they allow you to do.

Buy Vector and you will be happy.
