G320/340 - anyone think they're having encoder noise problems ?

Anyone think they're having noise problems with the encoder signals fed
back to a G320/340 ?

AND have done all the normal grounding/shielding things ?

I ask because I'll be getting some PCBs back about Aug 25-28 for my
own G320 setup.

I'll end up with a spare set of differential transmitter/receiver boards
that I'd be willing to part with for cheap. ( The deal with the local
PCB house is an OK price on a PAIR of identical boards. So for
everything I build, I get a second one, whether I need it or not )

The receiver board is about 1" x 5" and houses 4 receivers. There is a
2 pin connector for 5volt power. There are four 6 pin connectors for
power, ground, A+ A- B+ B- . Finally, there are four 4 pin connectors
for connection to the Gecko, Enc+ Enc- A and B.

The transmitter board is a cute little pair of boards stacked back to
back so that the whole assembly is about 1" x 1" x 1.25". One side is
an AMP 9 pin soft-shell connector, the other side is a 4 pin connector
to go to the encoder, +5 Gnd, A and B. Also, there are three .25"
FAST-ON ( spade ) connectors, Motor+, Motor-, and Chassis GND. The
assembly will snap into a rectangular ( sorta ) hole.

If you think you need such a thing thing and want to try this out, let
me know. If there's a lot of interest, I may actually do a "commercial"
run.
