Anyone need some HV caps?

on 2001-08-26 21:03:00 UTC
I have a few high-voltage caps salvaged from some laboratory equipment.
All but two are rectangular soldered cans with top screw posts, and the
last two are cylindrical with axial screw posts.

They're:

3ea. CSI #4W042TN 25uf 3.5KVDC
2ea. CSI #4W039TN 3uf 3.5KVDC
2ea. Plastic Capacitors Inc. #LK40-105 1uf 4KVDC
1ea. CSI #4M1Y0 1uf 4KVDC
1ea. CSI #4F21703 .3uf 4KVDC

2ea. Plastic Capacitors Inc. #DF40-294 .25uf 4KVDC (these are the axial)

That's a total of 84.8uf.

I have no idea what they'd be useful for (something EDM maybe? I don't pay
any attention to those posts) but they're free for the taking (or if you
pay shipping). All together they're about 3/5 of a shoebox volume. There
are also a few tiedown brackets for the rectangular cans.

Best regards,

Randy
