Don't know if you consider it too complex or expensive, but Vector does a
great job generating G-code for a lathe in addition to handling a mill. Try
http://imsrv.com/
They also have a program Lathe Quick Code that I have never tried. Billed as
a Conversational Lathe Program. Also, Fred from IMService has a special page
with deals for CCED members.
