Yes, URLs are file names in the host computer's file system. Part of the
beginning is stripped off, it this case most likely www.hut.fi is the
nodename.
So, the file name is

(hidden starting directory)/Misc/Electronics/hwprojects.html

and whatever file system conventions the system needs mostly still
apply. On MicroSoft OSs, the "\" separators are changed to "/"
On some systems, the case information is ignored, but on Unix
derivatives and Linux, case matters.

This caused enough trouble in the old days that case had to be ignored
in node names and email addresses. but, it still matters in URLs.
