used in it please? As part of my A level in Information Technology (Learning
to turn a computer on and draw pretty pictures) we write a small 'program'
to help people or companies. Like an interactive database for scout leaders
that tells them the cadet's addresses or something like that. I plan to have
a go at something that'd be useful for things to do with mills and motors.
I'm thinking along the lines of a section that interchanges between all the
measures for forces, sizes, weights etc (Imperial, metric and standard SI).
So it'd have a nice pretty flash animated menu, then you do something like
stick in your desired IPM (MPM), what you're milling and it tells you what
sort of forces you'd need to use with such and such a lead screw. It's an
idea anyway. I might try and make a part that gives you descriptions and
uses for certain materials as well. I need to find out how to work the
things out first. : ) The course has people in it who have not a clue
what a Word document is so I have a good while to do it.
