If you imagine hanging that contraption up-side-down from the ceiling and
mounting a spindle motor so that the tool stuck out perpendicular to the
table face, you'd have it. The difference is that most Hexapods used for
machining have much longer struts.

The one that I mentioned in Germany was a bit more than 5 meters tall and
the casting for the base was about 3 meters in a triangle.

Hi Group,
I just don't get the Hexapod design as a CNC machine.
However as a table to hold the part like the one in the link below.
That I can see!
