I also wrote a Visual Basic program, for 3 axis', and
Paul-Ernest Levesque and Frank Papineau have worked
to up it to 4 axis'. Source code is there and it works fine,
but there are not a lot of features. It will do inches or mm,
and you can reset it to any value you wish, but no backlash
compensation is there. Feel free to use it as you see fit.
It's been awhile, but I think it is set up for 640X480 so you
can use it with an old 486 and a basic VGA mointor running
windows 95. Find it here.
