Since Alan already seconded Tim's comments I'll have to third them 8^)
I also have a ShopTask and have been really happy with it. I've used
it for several projects that you could never do on a smaller machine
like a Sherline. Bigger is better and a Bridgeport would be great but
I don't have the space.

One other point is that while I don't know the vintage of Alan's
machine I think my machine and Tim's are around the same age. There
are some things that have annoyed me about the machine over the years
and I'll bet Tim too. I recently got the chance to help a fella set
up a brand new ShopTask and many of the things had been fixed. The
nice thing about ShopTask is I can now go back to them and buy the
pieces to upgrade my old machine if I want to.
