Why do you insist on chasing this 460 v line. For a start we are 440v
here in the UK not 460v.
The vast majority of US three phase power runs on 220v three phase so
I can't see what you are getting on about.
You don't need 440v. What you aim to do in your garage can be done on
single phase input - no problem - end of story.
