Sherline CNC Conversion is Complete (almost)

I just got finished testing out the motor drivers and the stepper motors for
my Sherline mill conversion, and it works! Thanks to everyone that answered
my questions in the past couple of weeks.

I built the Camtronics 2A driver kit, and went with the Slo-Syn 160 oz-in
stepper motors. I have them connected to the X-axis, Z-axis, and the rotary
table. I found a 15V 10A power supply on eBay for $20.50, and it works real
well. Now all I need is a crappy computer to put in the shop area to
control the thing.

I should be making some test runs this weekend, assuming I can get a donor
computer from a friend.

Total cost for the complete system including Mill, rotary table, drivers,
motors, power supply, and misc electronics pieces was $1135. All components
were new except the power supply. I cannot think of a more cost effective
machine to build, and I really appreciate having this form to stimulate my
motivation towards its completion.
