Ok I own up.
I've been telling porky pies.
In my earlier message 31545 about Area Clear in Dolphin I stated that
all the slots in the same group would be cut at all their different
depths. Later looking at the blue tool path files I could see they
were all the same. I checked the Geometry info and all the slots were
listed but at the depth of the first slot. So I edited the program
listed each slot and ran the post. Everything came out OK. Ran the
job this morning and it was fine.
Not being sure what was at fault, the program or me [ usually me
<g> ].
I rang the guy who actually writes the program. He had a quick look
and said yes the Machine all same groups command takes it's info from
the Area Clear dialog box so they will be the same. I explained what
had happened and he's agreed to put a check box in the next fix CD so
that you can select between using the area clear dialog info or using
the geometry info. This latter will allow you to machine all same
group profiles at differing depths.
How's that for service ??
