DRO interface

I hope somone can help me. I built a DRO from a set of
instructions from Art E. who has a web site on the net. After I built
it and hooked it up to my computer It did not work. I sent it to Art
who tells me that its fine and does work and maybe its my port
settings. I have an HP Vectra W intel pentium. I am not what you
would call knowledge when it comes to computer jargan. Can somone
help me. In advance thanks.
