I have for sale a sherline I think model 4000 lathe, basic lathe no tooling,
has stepper mtors with double shafts so cna be operated manually and a MAXNC
motion controller for sale. It will need a cable or two but is essentially
ready to run, the controler is a 3 axis controller as sold on the MAXNC
site. What you save is mounting the steppers and soldering up a controller.
This was two Ebay purchases in "the QUEST". I have spent $710.00 on this, it
cam with the controller, maxnc software, the maxnc "instruction booklet".
As far as I know this all works, I got as far as unackaging it and setting
in on the shelf. Since I finally fixed my CNC5 and am happy with t I no
longer need this or the mopney toed up so am willing to sel it for my
$710.00, If no one buys it I wil list it on ebay. Please do me a favor and
visit the MAXNC website and read all the stuff there as I don't want to
answerrt the same question a hundred times. I will send photos to interested
persons. I have sen two posts in the last 24 hours asking for something like
this so rather than split it up I decided I would sell t all as one deal.
Most of the poeple ( I read the archive messages) on this list are handy
enoough they could have this going in the afternoon they got it, I am not
one of thse types. I don't want to build machines I want to make m parts, I
also need to get these good ideas into the right hands and my ebay whims
money back into my bank account. thanks JOhn
