I have had it happen once or twice..... it just stops right there.
Have you tried a different Serial cable?
Also, Check your port speed settings both thru your Control Panel, System,
and then also in Flashcut's motor signals dialog box. I would drop it to
19200 or less on both with the current release. It may be having a
communication problem of some sort. You might even swap it to a different COM
port to see what happens.
You may also want to make sure that you are in no way introducing static
electricity that finds a ground now and then. This can happen when cutting
just about any non conductive material. A "spark" can cause it to drop out.
If you bought the setup new, I can't think of a better bunch of fellows who
could and would be willing to help get it working than the FlashCut
representatives.
