Dan Mauch, who's on this group who sells a kit for a circuit board
that allows input of encoder quadrature signals for up to 4 axis'.
It's an ISA board that will run on an old computer which is used
for the display. There is DOS software available as well as a
basic VB program available in the files section of this group.
The source code if available if you wish to modify it. Most people
have been getting their encoders surplus or you can get them
form a place called US Digital at a reasonable price. Thats all
you need.
