I'm not sure that it would really matter. The information that your CAD/CAM
program generates is a series of human readable statements such as "G00 X1
Y1 Z1." Even if you could send this information through the parallel port,
your stepper (or servo) controller most likely would not understand it. The
controller needs a series of step pulses and direction levels, one pair for
each motor under control.
