Happy thanksgiving. I really enjoyed this last digest, I read the entire
thing, I bookmarked several new sites to visit. I spent my six dollars and
am anxious to be rich off all of you<grin>

I still have one Rusnok Mill left. This is a model 80, it has the table,
universal head, uses DA100 collets. For our freind with the paint ball gun
jobs, this would be my first choice for a small TIGHT no backlash benctop
CNC conversion machine. They are Expensive these RUSNOKS but if any one else
has had the luxury of using one they absolutely eclipse the Taigs,
Sherlines, EMCO Unimat machines. Not becasue I am selling one either. I
hunted fro five years to get my first one. That was just the head!, after a
lot of work, after three sherlines, an old Diamond Horizontal Mill, twop or
three other attempts I finally got a complete Rusnok. I quickly gave away
all the other items or sold some. If you get a chance go try one someplace.

So now I want to CNC it. This is ground zero for me on making a machine CNC.
Most of you know I have been fighting the EMCO dilemma, posts and software
issues. Well If I am going to take all the good advice I have goten here and
replace the electronics then I am going to do it to the RUSNOK. It has a
small work envelope regardless if I am starting from scratch then dollar
dfor dollar is Servo vs. Stepper even money?

Has anyone else CNC'ed a RUSNOK?

And as I said I have one extra machine now which I am selling. I don't need
three. I am going to clean everything out and well watch for a list of
things from me. A couple guys on the list have a good idea how much junk I
have collected. It is out of here, so Rusnok, A sherline lathe to attach to
that free BackTrack controller the Paintball man gave away. It is set up
woth steppers and was designed to rubn from that controller. $500.00 and it
is yours. Comes with a three jaw chuck and a tailstock. There is no tooling
wioth it. I also still have a turnkey full blown Sherline Dream Machine.
There are photos of all the tooling and the lathe at this site.

I have a list of all the tooling,Manual and software, with part numbers.

I need the space back for my guitar repair bench so Drop some hints to your
spouse, these would be great cheistmas presents and help me clear out some
stuff.

Thanks for all the good posts today hope everyone had an enjoyable day.
