Here's the white paper on the dumb box:

Elsewhere on the Rutex page is the application board he sells for
the chip, and some test programs in Qbasic.
It still needs a "wrapper" on the PC side so it can be controlled,
and that's something I haven't had the time to do lately... I'd like
to have TurboCNC drive this little guy instead of the parallel port
as an option at startup.
