What we really need is to take up a collection then, hire all the
out-of-work former KGB types to track down and destroy anyone creating or
intentionally circulating a virus. Extreme as this may sound, computers are
life and death to a lot of people. The indirect expense of virus fighting is
passed along to us in every product we buy and every service we use and we
all know the direct costs of our personal battles.
All this so some Joe Nobody can sit around and chuckle when he wonders how
many lives he might have screwed up today.
