hello everone,
i just bought at auction a discarded cnc machine. it looks like it
was used to drive screws into circuit boards or something else
similar. it is a two axis machine to position the head. the brand
name is National Pana Robo. it has a large electrical box with power
supplies, breakers, etc. and another box with "PanaDac 383a" writen
on it. I am not experienced with these type machines and want to
contruct a 3-d router and bought it for the bearings, ball screws,
motors and table. but after looking at it i think i may be able to
use it as is by adding a z axis. i dont even know if the electronics
have capabilities for a 3rd axis. it kind of looks like the PanaDac
box is a computer for the machine and the drivers and power supply
are in the electrical box. i know this is very limited info but if
someone happens to know anything about it i would appreciate any
information. may be i can get digital pix if that would help.
Thanks,
gene
