Tim,
I've been using Pro/D for around 3 years... I have a paid set of V4.0, but
have downloaded 2001 Express... just a shame the two are not compatible...
I love the "logic" that was used to name the commands... likewise for the
process to create parts... I guess this is why I have had trouble finding
other programs that I like (find easy) to use...

I have been poking at ProDesktop and I am VERY impressed. It is the first 3D
modeler that actually makes any sense to me. If you haven't tried it I would
suggest downloading it and working through the tutorials.
