New on EMC: How to set the steps per unit for each axis? for metric

New in this gruop and new on EMC i need help on this:

(steppermod. and mm )


I have got EMC BDI installed and running so far.

But i have big problems setting up the right values for the mm units.

As in the faq listet :

"Input would be the number of steps per unit on the stepper motor"

i have following parameters Stepmotor geard : 133.33 steps
(pulses?) for one mm.

I have tried several changes with this value to the *.ini but with no
success. One time i get following errors one time the whole system
chrashes.

Could anybody give me some advise how to set up this value?
