Hello Ron,
this explains the strange threads I had on a Blanchard
grinder with flat leather belts I rebuilt back in 1995.
We didn't find any information about the year. Serial no about
1587 if I remember right.
I estimated it to the 30's. So it might be even older.
The main castings seem to have been used until the 60's.
