Hello,
The clearest manufacturer manual on g-code I've seen is the HAAS VMC
and/or Lathe manual. HAAS is located in So. CA (Oxnard), and may
send/sell you a manual.
The best books (for understandability and real-world-ness) I have
seen were written by Mike lynch. I think he's online with a faitr
amount of info at www.cnci.com, but his books are sold by enco and
others. (If I've got the link wrong, try a search of Mike lynch in
Yahoo)
The Flashcut demo, Deskam, vector, bobcad, kellyCam, and others have
been successfully used by many to learn gcode using the "try-and-see"
approach. I posted a lot of "beginner" Gcode info onthis list a year
or so ago. Check the archive online at the list website; try a search
on "gcode" or "G code"...
And of course many others have posted G code help over the years;
also in the archive.
Hope this helps.
