yes, hence compatable with G320 and G340

no, they are quadrature output signals A & B below

The unstated assumption is that to use this motor with
this encoder is that you need to only hookup +5,GND,signals A&B
and using the index pulse is optional (but a good idea for
accurate homing). C1,C2,C3 are not used.
