Too bad!

Well, I've got just about all the design engineering done now.
All I've got left is an optional compound slide unit and the automatic tool
changer to do.

I've got the basic principals done on the tool changer. It's pretty easy
and will be just a matter of drawing all the lines. It won't need any
steppers or servos either. I'll just hard wire it to cycle thru a complete
cycle once it gets a go signal. It will be air powered, as will the draw
bar.

The compound will take a bit more effort...it's like putting 5 lbs. in a 2
lb bag.

It looks like the maximum number of steppers/servos I'll have is 14 if I
installed them all. Most of the time only four would be used at any one
time. Some of those are there only for special cases.

I'm going to build this just like I expect everyone else that REALLY wants
one will probably do...a little bit at a time. Much easier on the
pocketbook that way.

Hope it warms up soon. I want to get busy casting the aluminum.
Think I'll take a break for a while. Have to get back onto the firearms
mold work tomorrow.
