Newell of course manufactures linear scales and
DRO's (digital read outs).
The above voice activated wearable mobile color monitor
is running Newalls Windoze program, the hardware apparently
based on Bells Xybernaut® MA IV wearable PC:

This leads to the next step for us hobbiests:
to use such Xybernaut (or equivalent) hardware and
get it interfaced to our Step & Direction software
(ie Linux/EMC, Master5, TurboCNC, CNCpro, etc ...).
