FS: Bridgeport Series 1 Mill with EMC Control

I've finished my retrofit of a Bridgeport Series 1 Mill and can now offer it
for sale. For pictures and details see:

I guess this is a two part message:

1. If anyone is interested in buying this machine, let me know and we'll work
out a deal. I'm receptive to trade-ins of old cnc machines with blown
controls. If you know someone who is interested in buying a machine, and can
help close the deal, I am happy to pay a commission (typically 10% although
that is negotiable). At any rate agents are protected.

2. I don't know how much to ask for this machine. I need to sell it soon, but
I also don't want to take a beating. I'd be interested in any opinions on the
value of this machine. At the present time I have only two data points on
which to base my views:

a. I've got several thousand dollars in actual expenses tied up in parts and
materials, plus not a small amount of time.

b. One dealer stopped by not too long ago and said he could sell it to one
of his customers for $15,000 (his price, not mine). I offered a 20%
commission if he could close that deal. I haven't seen him since. Another
fellow, to whom I subcontract machine work, allowed that the machine was
worth about $10,000 in his opinion, but that wasn't an offer to buy either.

I'd like to continue retrofitting and selling machines because I enjoy the
work, but if they're not worth anything once they're done it may be one of
those jobs that's not worth doing. I have had good luck doing repairs and
retrofits to customer owned machines, the question is whether it's
economically worthwhile to speculate by building machines for sale.

Thanks,

Matt
