Hi Russell,
Using ACAD R14 in 3D is convoluted and quite painful, ACAD 2000 does what
R14 should do and is much easier to learn and use. I draw exclusively with
2000 and in solids where possible. I am thinking of buying to pluggin that
generates G-Code. To answer your question: The AutoCAD Reference Guide
published by SPRINGER and written by Dorothy Kent. I have the one for R13
and it is very readable. For 2000 get: AUTOCAD 2000 3D f/x design. Published
by CORIOLIS and written by Brian Matthews. ISBN 1-57610-460-0.
Regards,
Terry

| Hi Gents,
|
| Could anyone reccommend a good book on 3D draughting using AutoCAD R14.
|
| I like to think that I am good at 2D but everytime I try to get into 3D I
tie myself in knots and give up again.
|
| Many thanks,
